Nachdem ich mir das schon wochenlang vorgenommen hatte, habe ich nun einen Tag vor meiner Abreise einen Nachsendeauftrag auf der Post in Auftrag gegeben. Das ist kein leichtes Unterfangen, wenn die Postlerin unfreundlich ist und herummault, dass man das normalerweise 5 Werktage vor Inkrafttreten erledigen muss. Letztendlich hat des doch funktioniert, nachdem ich ihr gesagt hatte, dass mir eigentlich wurscht ist, wann genau der Auftrag in Kraft tritt, Hauptsache, mein Postkastl geht nicht über. Warum ich die Post nur innerhalb von Wien (ins Büro) weiterleite, war ihr glaub ich bis am Schluss nicht ganz klar.
9 Stunden vor dem Check-In fällt mir ein, dass ich ja das Einreiseformular für die USA ausfüllen könnte. Und die guten Amis wollen wissen, wo ich denn wohnen werde. Ich habe keine Ahnung. Das Internet soll helfen, ich google Matt und hoffe, seine Adresse zu finden. Nix da. Ich schreibe schnell ein Mail an Matt und hoffe, dass die Infos noch rechtzeitig ankommen.
